HITTRAX TOURNAMENT
Every Saturday In January!
8u-10u: 10am-11:30am
11u-14u: 11:30am-1pm
We will be hosting 1 vs 1 HitTrax Tournaments every Saturday in January from 10am-11:30am for ages 8u-10u and 11:30am-1pm 11u-14u
How it works:
-Similar to a golf simulator, HitTrax will track the ball after it is hit in the batting cage
-On the screen players will be able to see the score, hitting stats, fielders, base runners etc. Imagine once the ball is hit it basically looks like a video game on the screen showing the outcome of the hit
Machine Pitch Speed Per Age Group: (machines are 40-46 feet from home plate)
8u: 40mph
9u: 45 mph
10u: 50 mph
11u: 55 mph
12u: 60 mph
13-14u: 65 mph
Rules:
-Games will be one vs one 5 innings long with a 30 minute time limits per game.
-7 runs per inning limit
-At times players from different age groups might face off, we can put certain settings in place on the HitTrax computer to make sure it's still an even playing field
-2 games guaranteed per week
Earn Points:
-Each game you win, it equals one point and one name in the raffle for the bat
-If you win a weekly tournament it will equal 5 points and 5 names in the raffle
Prizes:
-USSSA Tank Solider Bat -10 (8u-10U).
-USSSA or BBCOR Clout (11u-14u)
-At the end of the month players at each age division with the most points will win a free one month membership
SAFETY:
-Players must where a helmet in the cages at all times
-No Swinging bats in the walk way behind the cage or even holding bats. The monitors for HitTrax behind the cage are $1500 and if your child breaks one with a bat, you will be responsible for buying a new one
-Players need to pay attention to the machine not the TV! Staff will turn the machine off after a ball is hit in play, but sometimes the machine throws an extra pitch if not powered off with the remote in time.
