Halloween Costume HITTRAX TOURNAMENT
Oct. 30th, 2025
On Thursday October 30th we will be hosting a Halloween Costume HitTrax Tournament!
Participants will be encouraged to wear a Halloween costume. Staff will vote on the best costume and the winner will win a 1 month free membership to Batting Lanes 210. The winning team will also win a free 1 month membership!
Depending on how many signups we have players will either compete in small group teams or as individuals. HitTrax boost will be used to help make for an even playing field for the younger and less experienced players. Machine pitching speed will also be altered based off the age of the player hitting.

FORMAT:
FORMAT:
The tournament will either be round robin or bracket style based on how many kids sign up. The games will be 6 innings and take about 30 minutes each to complete. 3 game guarantee
HitTrax game mode will be used to keep track of the score, strike zone, outs etc.
HITTRAX GAME MODE:
We have the most updated version of HitTrax that comes with game mode. The easiest way to explain game mode is if you have ever been to Top Golf. When you hit a pitched ball off the machine, it will show the result of the hit, distance of the hit, where the ball went on the field, the exit velo of the hit, it will show the defense field the ball, the base runners running, the pitch speed, the count, the score and inning of the game, etc. Basically once you hit the ball it becomes a video game like simulation on our 55 inch tv's behind the batting cages.
The skill level of the defense and the size of the field adjust to the age of the players. So to get a hit at the 8u level will be much easier than 14u.
RULES:
Each game will have a staff member serving as an umpire that can manually over-rule the HitTrax on certain calls. Staff will also be the only ones allowed to control turning the machines off and on.
SAFETY:
-Players must where a helmet in the cages at all times
-No Swinging bats in the walk way behind the cage or even holding bats. The monitors for HitTrax behind the cage are $1500 and if your child breaks one with a bat, you will be responsible for buying a new one
-Players need to pay attention to the machine not the TV! Staff will turn the machine off after a ball is hit in play, but sometimes the machine throws an extra pitch if not powered off with the remote in time. If it is an issue, we may decide to hand feed the machines for the tournament instead of using the ball feeder.
